Private Boat Rental in Punta Cana

A private boat rental in Punta Cana puts a boat and its crew at your group's disposal for a few hours: you choose when to leave, where to swim and how long to stay. Our boats run from the 25ft Solara 25 for couples and small families to private catamarans for up to 35 guests, from US$220 per hour for the whole boat, with captain, crew and fuel included.

Half-day coastal rentals leave from Cap Cana Marina, minutes from the main Punta Cana resorts, for a four-hour route to The Sanctuary reef and the Cap Cana Natural Pool described below. Two boats leave from the Bávaro side instead: the Hideaway 2 from Jellyfish Beach and the Sea Ray 340 from Los Corales. Tell us where you are staying and we will confirm the departure marina for your boat with your quote.

What to Expect on the Cap Cana Route

Your experience begins at Cap Cana Marina, with boarding near the Fishing Lodge, a beautiful waterfront setting surrounded by distinctive architecture, residences, restaurants, boutiques, and marina views.

After welcoming you on board, the captain and crew will guide the boat through Cap Cana’s marina channels, passing waterfront villas and sport fishing yachts before heading out into the Caribbean Sea.

Once outside the marina, you will enjoy an approximately 30 minute scenic cruise through turquoise waters, with views of the coastline around Juanillo Beach in Cap Cana and Playa Blanca in Punta Cana.

The first optional stop is The Sanctuary, a calm snorkeling area suitable for beginners and families when sea conditions permit. Guests can explore natural coral formations and may see tropical fish beneath the surface. Snorkeling masks and equipment are provided on board.

The charter then continues to the Cap Cana Natural Pool, a shallow sandbar where clear water creates a natural swimming area in the sea. The boat anchors here, giving your group time to swim, enjoy drinks in the water, listen to music, and relax on board.

Selected vessels also include floating mats, swimming boards, a Lily Pad, paddleboards, or other water accessories.

Every charter includes a professional captain and crew, fuel for the confirmed route, bottled water, soft drinks, ice and snorkeling equipment. Water toys and accessories vary by vessel.

A private charter from Cap Cana is ideal for family outings, birthdays, celebrations, and relaxed days with friends. It is equally suited to couples planning a proposal, anniversary, honeymoon surprise, or an intimate sunset experience.

Fishing Experiences from Cap Cana

Selected vessels offer private fishing experiences from Cap Cana, ranging from relaxed family outings to dedicated offshore fishing charters.

Depending on the vessel and selected package, the trip can combine inshore fishing with snorkeling at The Sanctuary and swimming at the Natural Pool. This is a good option for families who want to introduce children to fishing while allowing everyone to enjoy the complete charter experience.

When fishing is confirmed as part of the package, the required equipment, captain, and crew are included. Availability, route, equipment, and inclusions depend on the selected vessel and sea conditions.
